Teresa García Salcedo graduated with first-class honours in English Studies, and Translation and Interpreting from the University of Córdoba (2018-2023). Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, she did a study abroad exchange at University College London (2021-2022). She obtained the María Zambrano Award for Best Bachelor’s Dissertation from the perspective of Gender Studies. She also obtained a master’s degree in Translation for the Publishing World from the University of Málaga (2023-2024). She has earned the Spanish national fellowship (FPU23) and she is currently in her first year studying a doctoral program in Languages and Cultures at the University of Córdoba. Her thesis is supervised by Professor Cristina Gámez Fernández (University of Córdoba). She is interested in literatures in English written by migrant female authors. She has recently participated in seminars and international conferences on English Literature and Translation.

Isabel Jiménez Sáez is a PhD student in English Linguistics at the University of Córdoba (Spain) and a member of the Cognitive and Functional Linguistics Research Group (HUM-693). Her doctoral thesis, supervised by Dr. Pilar Guerrero Medina, is a contrastive study of the English and Spanish resultative construction from a lexical-constructional perspective. She has been awarded a scholarship by the Oriol-Urquijo Private Foundation and is currently a pre-doctoral fellow in the Department of English and German Philology at the University of Cordoba. She holds a double degree in Translation and Interpreting and English Studies (for which she obtained first place in the National Ranking of Academic Excellence (SEDEA) in English Philology), as well as a double Master’s degree in Advanced English Studies and Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (with extraordinary prize in the latter). Throughout her undergraduate and post-graduate studies, she has undertaken international stays at King's College London and Utrecht University. She has presented her work at 10 national and international conferences, 1 symposium and 5 scientific dissemination events, and she has a forthcoming article in a specialized journal.

Dulcenombre de María Zurita Campos is a student of the Interuniversity PhD Programme Lenguas y Culturas (research area: Medical Translation) and a member of the Research Group on Texto, Ciencia y Traducción (HUM-947) at the University of Cordoba. Her doctoral thesis, supervised by Dr. Ana Belén Martínez López, involves a contrastive study of the translation and readability of informed consents in Spanish, English and German.
